IPDC Finance Limited, the first private financial institution of Bangladesh established in 1981, today has arranged a press conference announcing the start of Bangladesh Supply Chain Excellence Award (BSCEA) 2019 in association with Bangladesh Supply Chain Management Society (BSCMS), following its massive success in 2018. The main objective of this press conference was to share more insights about the award ceremony.
Bangladesh Supply Chain Excellence Awards (BSCEA) recognizes outstanding individual and organizational contributions in advancement of Supply chain knowledge and practices across the industries in Bangladesh. ISCEA (International Supply Chain Education Alliance), Bangladesh will be the knowledge partner for the event. Awardees, just like the previous year will be recognized on the basis of their high impact contribution during 2018 in various areas of Supply Chain Management in Manufacturing and Service Organizations. Supply Chain Professionals, Young Professionals and Business organizations will be invited to participate in this prestigious recognition program by submitting their achievement cases that ran during the year 2018.
BSCEA (Bangladesh Supply Chain Excellence Award) 2019 will be given in 11 different categories. The categories are; Supply Chain Collaboration and Partnering; Supply Chain Talent Development; Manufacturing Excellence; Supply Chain Finance Management; Logistics & Transportation Management; Customer Service, Warehousing & Distribution; Supply Chain Planning Process; Technology as Supply Chain Enabler; Supply Chain Sustainability; Young Supply Chain Talent of the Year; and Supply Chain Professional of the year. Esteemed Jury Panel will select 25 Best Cases (7 Individuals, 9 Local & 9 MNC Organization) as winners of Supply Chain Excellence Award 2019. Awardees will receive Crest and Certificates as recognition. Young awardees, along with Crest and Certificates, will also receive ISCEA Certification (about 5 of them). Deadline of submitting the nomination along with the cases is 24 October 2019. BSCEA 2019 ceremony will be held in Dhaka at International Convention City Bashundhara - ICCB on 28 November 2019 at 6PM.
