MoU signed between IPDC Finance and DYDF to support CMSMEs

IPDC Finance Limited has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhrubotara Youth Development Foundation (DYDF), an organization that empowers the youth of disadvantaged communities of Bangladesh, to provide financial support to members of DYDF.

The signing took place at the IPDC Head Office while Rizwan Dawood Shams, Deputy Managing Director of IPDC Finance, and Amiya Prapan Chakra Borty, General Secretary of DYDF, represented respective organizations. Also present at the signing were Nazrul Islam Khan, Chairman of DYDF and Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC Finance.

According to the MoU, IPDC will facilitate the members of DYDF, which are Cottage, Micro, Small Medium Enterprise (CMSME), who will get preferential service from IPDC based on the lead/references generated by DFDY. IPDC shall provide affordable home loan (AHL) facility while DYDF will provide assistance to IPDC in recovering payment from the members after the disbursement of the funds.

Mominul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of IPDC Finance, stated, “The CMSMEs are an integral part of our country’s GDP. If we want to see the economy grow, we must help these CMSMEs, and IPDC’s pursuit to help remains unshaken.”

Regarding the matter, Rizwan Dawood Shams, Deputy Managing Director of IPDC Finance, said, “We have been focusing on the development of the youth of this country since IPDC’s inception. It is our pleasure to be able to collaborate with DYDF in promoting and developing the youth of Bangladesh.

Amiya Prapan Chakra Borty, General Secretary of DYDF, said, “A company can never grow by itself. Rather it needs support and stimulation from others. We thank IPDC for coming to such an agreement with us. It will be a great support for our members.”
