Mr. Sarwar Azam Khan is one of the Independent Directors of IPDC and Chairman of Board Audit Committee of IPDC. He is also member of Risk Management Committee of IPDC. Mr. Khan is the Partner of A. Qasem & Co. Chartered Accountants (AQC), one of the oldest accounting firms in Bangladesh. Mr. Khan is a seasoned finance professional with a robust educational background, holding prestigious qualifications on Chartered Accountancy and Chartered Secretary. He was the Board member, Finance Director and Company Secretary of GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh Limited for 17 years. He has expertise in Leadership, Business Laws, Taxation, Financial Management, Strategic Planning and Operational Efficiency. Mr. Khan was Director & member of Finance Committee of Bangladeshi - Canadian Community Services (BCS), Director & Vice-Chair of Finance Committee of Lymphoma, Canada and Director & Chair of Scarborough Center of Healthy Communities, Canada. He was also Past President of the institute of Internal Auditors, Bangladesh Chapter and Intellectual Property Association of Bangladesh.

Mr. Khan has obtained his Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) & Master of Commerce (M. Com) in Accounting from University of Dhaka. He has also secured MBA degree in Marketing. Mr. Khan has professional membership both in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB).
